PRESTONSBURG, Ky. -- A man is dead following a motorcycle crash Thursday in Floyd County. According to Kentucky State Police, Shane Allen was operating a 2008 Honda Silver Wing along Route 1428 near Cow Creek just after 6:30 Thursday evening, when his motorcycle left the road and struck a utility pole.
